Rules

  • Teams of 1–4 members
  • All code must be written during the hackathon (no pre-built projects)
  • Projects must use Claude / Anthropic API in a meaningful way
  • Must submit a working prototype — mockups alone will not be judged
  • Be respectful, collaborative, and have fun

Eligibility

  • Open to all University of Maryland students
  • No prior experience required — all skill levels welcome

Project & Submission Requirements

  • Must fall under one of the three official tracks
  • Must use Claude / Anthropic API
  • Must include a working demo, GitHub repo, and short writeup
  • Must be built during the event

Prizes Each track awards:

  • 🥇 1st Place: $350 + $500 in API credits
  • 🥈 2nd Place: $200
